Even the book of Anne Frank has been put on black lists in America. What is happening in the former leading country of free speech and democracy? You ought to resist anti-democratic movements in your country.
I recommend this book, too. It has beautiful insights into Anne, her family & shares the impact of her diary around the world. It also tells the story of how publishers came to decide to publish it... I realized they may not have publish it, because it's dark, grim & raw.
Anne Frank's diary is on my list of "Books that Changed My Life." I read it for the 1st time at age 11; & just couldn't fathom how people could allow the holocaust. Now.. I certainly promise to promote democracy & free speech in the United States. ❤️🙏🇺🇲
