Local park advisory council told me the park was "severely underused" in the same paragraph that she told me "the police need to close the entrances on summer evenings because they get too full"

This happens every summer in our local park, block booked for private events, mainly music festivals. In the last couple years, the council have also closed off the main road that runs along it (by a busy station) so our equivalent of ICE can do ID checks on festival goers. Horrific.
