This is what drives me crazy. Both sides are completely corrupt. It's just that one is worse than the other, but none of them represent us. We'll be much better off when we stop fighting amongst ourselves and realize that. That probably won't happen though.
no, there is no "both sides" there is one side. there is theater. there is kayfabe. there is pretend animosity but they are on the same team, playing offense and defense against the rest of us
Vidal was great with words but I didn't read anything into it. Maybe I should've. Not sure if it was as big a deal back then. He actually was a Democratic candidate for Congress at one point.
