Anyway my statements stands. Go get ya prostate checked. My dad had prostate cancer and because my mom insisted he get checked it was caught early and he’s alive and in remission for 15 years. Get checked. Your life depends on it.

Indeed people. I’ve had prostate cancer and it’s no joke. All it takes is a simple PSA blood test (prostate specific antigen), to find out. GO GET IT BOYS!!
I wish my husband had listened to me when I told him the problems he was having urinating weren't normal. His was diagnosed at Stage 4, metastasized to his hip and spine. Luckily, his treatments are working: no testosterone, but 7 years survival and counting.
I had prostate cancer in 2016, but never had blood in my urine, just trouble peeing and a bit of pain. But my PSA level was over 9 (anything over about 5 is considered high) 2.2 is the acceptable high. Just get a blood test guys, it may save your life.
I heard drs don’t check prostate with the finger anymore. That there is a blood test. So why wouldn’t testing be part of an annual physical? Hard to understand anyone having regular annual physicals reaching stage 4.
My father had prostate cancer over two decades ago. The PSA is useful, but levels fluctuate and don't always indicate cancer. Last year, they thought the levels were related to a medical issue that caused sepsis before he had his gallbladder removed.
My dad got it and it was caught early. He eventually died from lung cancer, a smoker for 30 years, but his prostate cancer was cured through treatment.
