Game #2 (1/12): Gestalt Steam & Cinder

A fun metroidvania that doesn't overstay its welcome. Smooth movement and incredible pixel art carry the experience. I ended up 100%'ing this - I just hope we see the story continue at some point. #gaming

Game #3 (1/14): Ninja Five-O. The occasional wrestling with controls didn't spoil what was a pretty tight experience. Great to pick up and play in short bursts (a relic of the GBA era).

I promise I won't be beating games every other day, I had been juggling this alongside Gestalt lol. #gaming

Game #4 (1/30): Mario vs. Donkey Kong (2024). The controls felt unresponsive at times and the game took a long time to ramp up in difficulty, but it evolved into a satisfying experience. Underrated soundtrack. I just wish the loading screens weren't so frequent. #gaming

Game #5 (2/6): Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist. I remembered this game as "a worse Turtles in Time". I was correct, but it's still a blast. Michaelangelo is the best btw. #gaming

Game #6 (2/7): Metroid Prime 3. A very good game that is absolutely a relic of both the era it was released in and the platform upon which it was released. The weakest of the prime games (admittedly a high bar) still has plenty of great moments so was worth my time. #gaming

Game #7 (2/17): Pru the Pigeon. The experience lasts less than an hour but it still manages to provide some variety to the table. A fun 3-D platformer that was only $2 on sale ($3 full price). Would recommend to anyone who had tried and enjoyed Celeste 64. #gaming
