How about pro bono representation of law enforcement officers injured on January 6 so they can recover damages from those responsible for their physical and mental injuries?
So....Law Enforcement ARE OFFICIALLY a protected class. It's not like judges haven't been treating them that way for years.
We have to support ALL our 'first responders'
As angry as we are with The Orange One, we Yanks are also extremely frustrated with elected officials who, on one side, have fully surrendered to give Tя☭mp whatever he wants, no questions asked; on the other side, we have many pearl-necklace-clutching representatives afraid to represent us.
I've noticed. It's the fresh hell every day, isn't it? Scary times. Many Americans are fleeing to Canada if they can get a job. We are certainly benefiting from the toxic politics in the US. Not that it's a good thing, I'm sure they don't want to leave either. Sad.
The silver lining (well, pewter, maybe) is that due to the insane level and constant bombardment of disasters, even some maga faithful down here are *finally* waking up and smelling the coffee.
I do believe we are fast approaching a tipping point.
“Force,” nothing—those attorneys willingly volunteered to do such work. At least, the partners did; any other attorneys still on staff can also count themselves as willfully aiding the Turd Reich.
We literally have a sociopathic moron running the country and close to 40% of the voting population still seems to cheer him on. Something is very broken in this country.
We see where the pro bono work for the high profile law firms will be used. Is Trump laying the groundwork for martial law and extreme use of force by police?

“This mechanism shall include the use of private-sector pro bono assistance for such law enforcement officers.”

😂
Sadly, at least half our Members of Congress have completely abdicated their authority and are fully capitulating to #StinkyMcFelon.
Sigh.
I do believe we are fast approaching a tipping point.
It’s what happens then that concerns me.
