*staring down the mall walkers in their Sketchers Shape-Ups* that’s right, keep on shuffling there, don’t let me catch you envying the shine eminating off these NB 608s
If I could do it again, I would’ve gotten an 89. Last year of the 80s body, first of the ZF 6 speed. I still like my 91, but the digital dash is too cool.
What's the level of hate Corvette owners have for someone who got a Chevy SSR because they don't fit into a Corvette?
I don't have one yet but I do want one. I'm waiting until they don't cost $30,000 anymore. Given the average SSR owner's age, I think they'll come down soon.
2-3 years ago, I was at a new car show. 8-10 older men were gathered around a C8. One attempted to crouch down and sit in it, but gave up about half way though. I went and sat in it and I could feel their envy.
Honestly, GM needs to make a taller "performance vehicle" for men in this age range...
Back in the retro car days I thought a great way to expand the Corvette lineup would be to build a “Chevrolet Corvette C1 Heritage” model on the Pontiac Solstice platform.
Abimelec Design did a render of it a few years back. Other than wheels, it's what I imagined.
The late C3 market was like a bunch of unloved basketcases for $1000 and overpriced '78 pace cars with 500 miles and every bit of rubber dry rotted away for $$$ not that long ago
I always found that generation looked cool especially the facelifted models with the squircle rear lights in either black rose or dark purple metallic.
Y'know a track came on my extensive random phone playlist yesterday and I glanced at the cover art and wondered quite what the hell went on with Scion AV so I think it's time.
Maybe a dive into car companies putting out albums in general? Volkswagen had a few in the early 2000s they called Street Mix and the first one had this on it, which I really enjoy. :P

Come on people, bring on malaise era Delta 88s, 229 ci Malibus, cop-spec 80's Gran Furys, fakewood Country Squires, and true 'murican iron !

... To some of us, that's not exactly a bad thing LOL

no spiders to report at this time
The 996 is a great car, but weirdos just are personally offended by the headlights.

But I wouldn't be buying one ~despite~ the styling. I like the way it looks. Especially in black with whitewalls.
C4 prices are up too though. You can’t find a clean, low mile, driving example for $5k anymore.
@supcat.bsky.social has anyone done the history on Toyota’s in-house music label or is that just something we’re not ready to have a discourse about?
I have a couple of releases but I can't remember the other at this point in time.
