I just mentioned this on another thread recently, but while I appreciate The Beach Boys “God Only Knows,” the Skycycle version adds a note of desperation to it that I think makes it superior.

Speaking of Dwight Yoakam and covers, I am not going to say "better" because I live in Minnesota and I do not need an angry mob at my door, but his Purple Rain cover is fantastic.
