The power of all these protest actions are their number and frequency. We're in a new resistance era. A few big marches isn't going to work this time unless millions take to the streets but that will take lots of planning.
very true, Sir. Sadly, being german and knowing what happened...THAT person was elected and, despite neighbors disappearing, well... we know how it ended. The parallels are scary. Just like that poem said "...and when they came for me, there was no one left..." Sadly "the other"-ing STILL works.
While it is a grand idea, I have some real qualms. Several people that I know must go to work. How are they supposed to get by if they simply do not show up? I fear that we need a more coherent and cohesive effort to try to make a dent economically like this.
Wait. Hold up. Back in mid-February I received THIS documentation that said the shutdown day was Friday March 14th! We need to be more consistent with our exact date days!
Do these people not understand possible timelines? in less than 4 days orchestrating a nationwide shutdown.... People we need to be smarter then they are to be an opposition.

Employment is a matter of life and death for people without savings or support systems.
But also, it's performative. It won't do anything.
Revolutions don't start from your armchair, they start on your feet.
Why are Americans so terrified of real, strong protests?
Look at BLM. Yall aren't angry enough.
