Corbyn’s views on Brexit destroyed any hope I had that Labour, if they got in, in its then form, would fix the destruction fascist pricks like Farage had forced upon us. The last 15 years of politics in the UK have been a complete shitshow and judging by yesterday, it looks set to continue.
Sadly balance amongst thecommentariat has been sacrificed at the alter of expediency. When your income can be boosted by engagement numbersmany have surrendered their objectivity.Much betterand more lucrative to chase the herd. One such commentator posted pretty much the same thing for 5 days in a row
Tony Benn and Jeremy Corbyn viewed the EU as undemocratic, arguing that decisions were made by unelected bureaucrats and institutions rather than by the people through their elected representatives.

I'm 76 years old, I'm not going to live forever
I've been a socialist all my life, even before I knew what it meant
The biggest enemy of socialism is socialists, there are too many factions who disagree over minute idealogical arguments
Until they get together and agree the only thing in the world that matters is the welfare of every human being on the planet we'll never get anywhere, because the non socialists will never give up their ideologies power, greed etc
Though why he would think brexit would put a stop to firms importing cheap labour to undercut the wages of UK workers I can't imagine
The cheap labour didn't all come through the EU
The firms would have been encouraged by the government to get them from other sources

I think people forget this. Corbyn (and Mccluskey) raised almost as much dust on immigration as Farridge. Not happy about the language Keir Starmer unwittingly used but can we have a pile in on Lexiters too please.

I made the point a few times on here yesterday
As a fairly non factional Lab member I think we’ve been generally been really poor in that regard for over a decade
They weren’t
Greens are
