I don't know, you'd have to ask him that. But I'm certainly not going to badmouth the good things he does because he's done things I don't agree with in the past.
As a person who currently works with the tribes to protect manoomin (wild rice) and water I’ve seen a lot of disturbing things. Both with the PCA, as well as government officials like Walz and Flannigan who promised to stop the pipeline from going through Reservations/Treaty territories. They lied.
So what would you suggest doing about it? I'm asking genuinely. Bashing the Dems because they did things we didn't agree with is how we ended up with Trump instead of Harris, and bashing Walz and the DFL over line 3 seems unproductive given the current state of things.
I think the fact that Dems have ignored the tribes, Environmentalists, and activists in the bane of profit is why we got here. I think criticizing these missteps and thinking outside the current systems are are answers, personally.
