NB.1.8.1 is a classic example. It has a complex "name", which I've already seen one media outlet mangle in their headline.
It now also has sub-variants with a PQ prefix, that can be included in "Nimbus".

The earlier ancestor variants under XDV.* are quite rare now.

At that point, the only country reporting a string of samples was Hong Kong, noting that the "global" sample data is thin and patchy.
