The coming games, & trade deadline, will determine the run to the end of this regular season.
However, there’s the bigger picture.
To date, KH & JG have put in place the broader strokes, & some detail, for the extended picture. Which bodes well.
Hughes and Gorton certainly have their work cut out for them. You need veterans on the #Habs, but you also have a number of good prospects that need to play. Plus you have a plethora of prime draft picks.

You can say that again! With all the young players on the #Habs right now and the ones coming in the next 2 years, they're going to need support and protection. Demidov, for example, will be a target for other teams - mark my words. The #Habs need "men" to take care of the "boys".

Man, this column hit me in all the feels. Having been around since the early 70’s and growing up with the usual parade route, I can finally see a huge light at the end of this tunnel. Thanking the Lord we no longer have a Houle or Grundman running the show. In Kent we trust!!!
