I hate to be a boring old fart droning on about the same subject but I'm writing on Lane Hutson and the Calder again in the column that will be up tomorrow afternoon.
The kid just has to win it.

In 1984-85, Chris Chelios had 64 points 9-55), finished second in Calder race behind . . . Mario Lemieux. Hutson is as impactful as Chelios, IMO. No Mario in sight, all due respect to the current Calder competition.
Lane Hutson had 3 points, over 23 minutes TOI, 3 blocks. He was +2. He was the best player on the ice today!
