The notion of culture in an organization goes unnoticed to most people until it’s broken and becomes toxic. The Bergevin era was toxic. It took some big cojones from Gorton to make those bold moves + trust that not only a new culture is led from the top, but also evolving by the players themselves

Jack…Mr.Molson is definitely a real Habs fan and a real gentleman I have had the privilege of serving him on 3 flights over the years . Hiring Gorton was is best move since his family bought back the franchise IMO … Gorton hiring Kent Hughes his gonna be a hard move to top.

Molson had a learning curve and some of it was very rough. But when he got it together, he became a really solid owner.
