Another great column Jack. " Will it be the Iceman cometh or the rookie does a faceplant?" I think Demidov will be just fine. The Caps are going to have to shadow him closely or they’ll get burned if they don’t.

Put aside youth. Looking at teams that can win you need 6 20 goal scorers prorated on 82 games. Habs missing 1 which arrived in Demidov. Just like a major trade at the deadline. Future is great for this team with playoff experience in laval and guys developing there while NHL team in the playoffs

Great column and great way to look at Demidov. If he provides the entertainment and excitement provided by Suzuki, Caufield, Slafkovsky and Hutson I will be very happy. I’d also like goals and wins in this series but for that is secondary. I have time to wait for peak performance.
