It's all about getting something out there, even if it isn't based in facts. There is no (or at least, very little) accountability in journalism. They let go of everyone who understood the process.

Just looked at her timeline...All articles are anti-Liberal party...from a "journalist", not shocked.

The methodology is clumsy and amateurish - toss out a few speculative possibilities, then bolster that slender framework with comments from academics.

By no stretch of anyone's imagination is that "investigative" journalism.

Can't speak to it, behind a paywall for me. But checking some writer bios under their articles I don't get that right-aligned vibe. Again, can't speak to this piece in particular, but they do seem to focus on lobbying across the political spectrum and host a range of databases on money in politics.

These are not journalists. They are right wing advertising groups, claiming to be journalists, pushing false narratives to pound lies and doubt into people. A propaganda machine that the Conservatives know is fake but cowardly let go because it sadly works.
