The sports books aren't dumb, they are clever in knowing there's enough people with a gambling addiction to get suckered in (and this goes for the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA title, etc.).

Sorry to rant... But I hate how gambling has completely consumed sports media... Podcasts have full segments about betting odds, every second TV commercial is about betting, the biggest stars of the game plastered in print ads. It's honestly sickening. Gambling ruins lives... Yuck.

It’s a public health issue but overlooked because there’s too much money made off the back of people’s addiction. There should a ban on betting ads especially on sport shows where young people are easily swayed.
