I'll admit that I fall for those sensationalist headlines fairly often as a just in case type thing. I've at least learned to stop clicking on headlines with the phrase "...within the Canadiens organization" because that's usually a minor league player or a prospect that'd never make the NHL

Sid is an entirely different case. I still think there's a wee chance they could land him. Montreal is an almost perfect fit, Pittsburgh is rebuilding, there's nothing there for him for the balance of his career.

Agree and the Habs have the picks and prospects PIT needs. Dubas will likely over ask but Hughes has full knowledge of what he can offer and negotiate. It has been a while we’ve had such intelligent management. I can’t help but imagine what Sid could do to solidify the lines & give Suzuki support.
