I also really like the blue ones. ❤️ I always choose them for on my balcony. But most of the hydrangeas growing along the water here are pink. I think it has to do with the soil. 🤔

I lived in Osaka for 17 years, and never really understood why there was a rainy season at all; it seemed to rain all year round there!

Yes, there may have been many rainy days. In Japan, we call it the rainy season when the rain continues, and it is said that summer will arrive when that period passes.

Ocean Grove, New Jersey, where I live, is also quite rainy all year but especially right now, and hydrangeas thrive here too.
