It’s funny how fixated people are on the price of eggs. If a dozen eggs costs $6, that’s .50/egg. Cheap compared to the price of a family-size bag of chips or a 12-pack of cokes. I get that those are “luxury” items, but people do buy them regularly. So, wtf is the big deal about eggs? 😂😂

But the Republicans complaining - well, they don’t seem to register that the rich are getting richer but the rest of us struggle more - especially minimum wage.
It's really more that eggs have had an easily identifiable price increase that can be effortlessly politicized
(Don't get me started on the price of Coke though 🤣🤣🤣)
Please tell me that was sarcasm?
I've been focused on "eggs are this much but they used to be that much" and it sort of obscured that they're 'just' 50 cents each
Am I happy about the price increase? As someone for whom eggs are a major protein source: Hell no!
But eggs still have a good cost-to-benefit ratio (for me, anyway)
