Mike Johnson: "Medicaid is intended, remember, as a safety net for young pregnant mothers and the elderly and disabled and vulnerable populations, not for young able-bodied men without dependents. Those are the kinds of people we're taking off the program."

A young man I met has severe cardiac issues and is very limited in what he can do daily. If you just glanced at him and saw him sitting, you would not think anything was wrong.
Turn blue from walking a few feet.
He died at his elementary school and his teacher did CPR and brought him back.
He has an implanted defibrillator now.
He was warned that sex might kill him.
His life expectancy is 25.
He was born with a bad heart.
I can go on and on about how looks alone are not how disability is determined.
Having a politician claim there are able bodied men getting medicaid is a lie.
There are disabled young men unable to work due to hidden disabilities on medicaid.
Try living on the wages that come with SSI!
The income level to qualify for medicaid is way below the poverty line.
I challenge anyone to try and live on the income limits required.
