Right wing papers covered with pieces about Rayner moving to replace Starmer, and I can't tell if that's what's happening or if it is McSweeney moving to cut the legs from under her because it seems inevitable she will.

I’ve had a feeling she’s been making moves for a while - she’s been pretty quiet on Labour’s more right wing policies. I think and hope that her relative silence is a sign she’s not on board with the shift to the right. Cabinet collective responsibility means she won’t publicly criticise.
And I actually think she would have already made a move if not for the fact that we’ve come off the back of PM musical chairs over the last few years. Politically it’s embarrassing for the new government to do the same - so there will be a reluctance in the PLP for this reason.
She clearly did leak it. Just as clearly, whether to push a more progressive agenda or her own career there’s manouevring going on.
I don’t think it’s a bad thing- Labour under Starmer, Reeves, McSweeny are abject & out of touch; some pressure for a better version can only benefit them & us

She's now tainted with the neo-liberal shit Starmer and Reeves have done
"A government source pointed the finger of blame for the leak at Rayner’s team, saying: “She clearly wants to differentiate herself.."
"A government spokesman said: “We don’t comment on leaks.”"
