Here's a personal story: I worked for a hard drive manufacturer in 2010. They got a lot of poached engineers from the competition, known to be a crappy employer. A year later, the competitor bought my company and all those escapees were back in prison. Worst part of that job was using Lotus Notes.
I guess you worked for HGST? (bc I think that Samsung didn't have HDD R&D outside of Korea, or am I wrong?). Apart from one faulty product line (still IBM), they produced the most reliable HDD's in history.

I have a remarkable young Hungarian tradesman working for me. He just got his 10 yr visa. He's a bit shell shocked at what he's learning from me about what trump's doing as this shit progresses. Early on he said 'America sounds like a dictatorship/sounds like it's a business'. I was astounded.
A lot of them voted for this, too! Ironically, they did this because they have PTSD from what they thought was “the left” and encroaching “socialism”. They will now remember that their PTSD was rooted in fact in authoritarianism!
It will be actually worse, I am not allowed to have chickens or pigs in my back yard to slaughter for food in the winter. Great memories, not looking forward to.
