My longest was 25 miles one way but I used an ebike, back with WA bike to work month was a competition, I used to see boeing teams with multiple members of 50+ miles per day on acoustic bikes. But 125 is pretty crazy

The guy must do nothing but cycle to work, work, cycle home, sleep.
21 miles each way was manageable, but wouldn't want to do more than that.

That is roughly a 7h commute each way, and that is averaging 18mph including lights and stops.

Indeed. 1h20m for my old commute was rough but it was at least consistent where the transit option was not AND I could work late and not be punished with 2h+ bus ride home.
