"Unprecedented"
"...a fully operational and certified warship presence close to the scene and react quickly, if necessary."
"...likely Merkuriy has been tasked to maintain a Russian military presence close to where Chinese Bulk Carrier Yi Peng 3 is anchored..."
Right between Denmark & Sweden.

Weak Russian puffery. They are trying to escalate and just look foolish.
There's 300 NATO missiles in range and they are probably carrying a dozen countermeasures.
Remember when they escorted their economic forum delegation to Australia with warships?
So easy to read what's up in their retarded stone age mindZZ.😄
Just follow the 🇩🇰 ship.
Also civilian and warships can anchor 12nm from Sweden and Denmark without permission, as it’s international waters then.
This is not a normal transit.
Makes the latter look extra innocent
The question is why would China engage in such an obvious attack? Show of force? Doesn't seem to be much upside for them?
Since 27 hours back she has driven around 2-6 knots in a perfect north-south course, 6 NMi long.
It's a pattern I have never seen and I am not a naval officer. @fouthtimelucky.bsky.social ?
This is something else.
Anchoring is out of the question, it is time consuming and her readiness and alert status will be to low.
The turns seem to be to sharp, to be executed with a Towed array sonar. Also they execute a “Butakov manouvre” at every turn. If a TAS were deployed, they would run over its own sensor.
