Let's not ignore it got to the point where the officials threatened to grant PHI a TD.
I don't recall a bunch of GL offsides due to hard counts causing officials to threaten granting the offense a touchdown. Perhaps I've missed that.

I have no issue with them returning to the original rule and enforcing it.
I understand this feels like a Packers vs Eagles thing, but it's not 1 v 1.
If GB and PHI didn't play at all last year and they still submit the rule change, does that change anything?
Regardless, if the Tush Push had been discussed in those meetings, there's certainly reason to believe he would submit the rule change without GB having played PHI.
