What evidence? He was one of Chelsea’s best players last season and they’ll tell you that themselves, see Palace and his current season with Atletico, third in La Liga and having a big impact.

Agree with that. Viera certainly got the best out of him. Also think he was Chelsea’s best player last season other than Palmer. Bloody shambles that club for getting rid. Especially in the way they did it.

As a Palace fan we still love that man dearly and one that we file as “the one that got away” and yes I know you should fall in love with loanees, but ah well. (It’ll be the same with Chalobah too no doubts)
