I remember back on my old account, I discovered this thread and it motivated to finally start coming out. 7 months later I'm 3 months on hrt and I'm in a way better place. Maybe the best place I've ever been in the last 31 years.

i lost things & people when i came out, yes. i have gained so much more, however. living with integrity & unburdened by shame is worth it.
