Well, it IS real.
There's part of me that sees these side by side, that almost prefers the original graphics!?
I think the new graphics are gorgeous, but idk there's something peaceful about how they looked to me before, but I think that's just a "me" thing. π

Looking kinda Fallout with magic
Glad to know thereβs at least two of us!
Given how devoted the fan community has been to making the original Oblivion look better, I was hoping for the gorgeous greens the game's known for.
Look at some of these pics from Bevilex's modlist (which is 5 years old). I think they're better!
I'm not gunna knock the devs for trying hard but when a game is decades old and solo modders crank out mods beyond human comprehension.... The devs gotta really up their game or the PC crowd is gunna pass on it lol
Console gamers will be happy tho
I'm glad console gamers get some love
Don't know what specifically about it, but a combination of effects and things.
I wonder if there will be an option to flip the graphics back?
Original was bright and vibrant, a strong contrast to the sepia tones of Morrowind and the greys of Skyrim.
Tempted to compare it to how other media is losing its colors.
But i have higher hopes for skyblivion, the ones behind it are fans
I'm excited still. Oblivion is a great game.
Saying Oblivion always made them happy and gave them wanderlust, but Skyrim having a more muted color pallette let them put their own feelings into the game, since it was more "neutral"
Not saying either is better, it's just interesting π
