Hey, I think you're misunderstanding where the boycott comes from. This is an official BDS boycott - the most reputable and widespread pro-Palestine boycott organizer. I've been following them for 10+ years and they're had modest successes. They choose targets carefully to be realistic.

Consumer boycotts only work if they're large and carefully targeted, so BDS is the perfect group to run one. You can't be a 100% ethical consumer, so to make an effect, you have to strategize. And BDS is optimal strategy for pro-Palestine activism. Everyone should join!

the BDS has called for a boycott of Microsoft, which owns Bethesda. I won't say pirating a new game is the morally correct route, nor is acting superior for knowing about a boycott that others may not be aware of, but avoiding the game for now is the best course of action IMO
