Gaming is so different these days man. Like I distinctly remember so many games that came out around 92-98 even though I was born in 94. I feel like games back then kept mindshare for far longer than games these days
I love when I see someone post about a game or a console being their "childhood" and it's one that came out when I was already a grown-ass adult with a student loan payment lol
and it completely rewired my music tastes. ever since I became a huge game OST fan. (I liked game music before, but I remember burning the OST into a CD and carrying my discman everywhere). God we're fucking ancient π
I feel old now. I love Guilty Gear. I was introduced to Guilty Gear in the early 2000βs when I got Guilty Gear X2 for the PlayStation 2, and through that I found out about this first game in the series.
I remember picking my copy up new. Back then I just preordered whatever had Atlus on the cover. I loved Guilty Gear through X2, #Reload, Accent Core, etc. I havenβt played any of the newer titles though. The last one I played was that horrible Xbox 360 βGG2 Overtureβ title.

Strive dumbed everything down for better or worse (mostly worse).
