Been playing on my Wii again the past 2 weeks. Trying out modded gamecube games cause it runs a lot better on my Wii compared to dolphin emulator due to certain games being too graphically demanding to properly run. It’s been fun playing Paper Mario TTYD, finally tried the original out!

We didn't know how good we had it. Nintendo Wii's still going strong here, though. Thanks to its great library and backwards compatibility with Gamecube. The HDMI converter works great as well.

The Wii is the last console where we had to actually line up outside for 10+ hours. I literally worked for 13 hours that day, stood in line for another 5 after my mom held my spot for 6 hours, and then went home after midnight and played on the system until at least 3 am. Work started again at 7 am.

I still remember the Christmas where my brother and I got a Wii. My parents put us on a scavenger hunt with misleading clues meant to make us think we were just getting a Wii reserved for when they were back in stock (still super exciting). But at the end of the hunt was the real deal!
