Sad news for me- and my late mom who provides all the funding for our organization. I went to high school in Atlanta, and have been inspired by his work all my life. His life and legacy will always inspire underdogs around the world #projectunderdoginternational
Carter quote:
"We've become, now, an oligarchy instead of a democracy. I think that's been the worst damage to the basic moral and ethical standards to the American political system that I've ever seen in my life."

Bob Dylan & Joni Mitchell wrote and sang the songs of peace, catalyzing someone like Carter, a truthful patriotic statesman, to be elected. That peace is elusive now, as U.S. bombs rein down in Gaza, murdering a child every 45 minutes for 450 days now. = 18,000. We need a Carter remake hero NOW!
He reminded me of Mr. Rogers. Just a happy and loving guy, i read one of his books years back. We have all let him down. Sorry Jimmy, hate is deep in my heart. Republicans put it there and i wont be free until the Orange man is dead. Even then i will find it hard to forgive them.
Bobby has always been a poet. I have the privilege of being related to him. Wrote/called his Mom (my Aunt Beatty) growing up. My mother's family have amazing stories about him growing up in Duluth, MN.
How ironic with the passing of President Carters, flags will be flying at half mast for Trumps inauguration.. thank you President Carter for one last act with class
President Biden should rename Camp David (which was named for David Eisenhower, grandson of President Dwight Eisenhower and son-in-law of President Richard Nixon) Camp Carter.
What a picture. Probably two of the most extraordinary people in the 20th century. Both have been Big influences in my life. Heaven is Happy To Have You Jimmy
You have to respect President Carter for his ethics, compassion, and integrity throughout his life.
He was an humble and honorable man. He was generous and gracious. He was a sterling example of leadership and fellowship. He attained the presidency on merit, and left office unencumbered by scandal.
Leave it to Bob Dylan to somehow make his comments on the passing of this fine man and great leader sound like he thinks President Carter was fortunate to have met him.
I wonder what he would say about the whole Dylan catalogue being sold as 'content' to the highest bidder.
Kind of undercuts the message.
What did you see my Blue Eyed Son?
He also was addicted to heroine. The movie alluded to drug issues through his demeanor. You can see it on his face and hear it in his speech. Great movie. Great activist for Liberals.
I recommend seeing βA Complete Unknown.β The movie omits things like Bob Dylanβs conversion from Judaism (his daughter reportedly still is Orthodox) to Evangelical Christianity. But the movie covers a brief time period, alluding to his Judaism through the name (Robert Zimmerman) on his DL.
Carter was an antisemitic ideologue who caused the deaths & oppression of thousands of Iranians, especially Jews. He created economic misery for millions of Americans. He threw Eastern Europe under the bus to appease the USSR. Out of office, he urged our allies not to support US in the Gulf War.

The pendulum couldnβt have swung any further than that of President Carter & Donald Trump.
A glaring example of polar opposites.
Rest in Power, Jimmy, you were an angel on earthπ―οΈβ£οΈ

There was an aura of peace about him. The only other person I've met that had that kind of silent power was Muhammad Ali.

I can't swing it anymore.
The house it built, you see it stand.
Feel I'm knockin' on Heaven's door.
