What’s the deal with all the King & Queen stuff? A fairly large group of the USA’s closest allies have a King or a Queen & are governed by a constitutional monarchy. So far a more stable form of government than the various republics around the world. Trump is not a King or a Queen. He is a dictator.
It’s a call back to the origin of the US when monarchs used to have complete or near complete control. Neither Trump nor Elon are literally a king/queen, but they are acting like it by ignoring laws and other guidelines that have been set in place for years, decades, etc.
E.g. the mass firing of inspector generals without any notice to congress. At the end of the Nixon administration, congress passed a law requiring the president to give at least 30 days notice to congress when removing an inspector general so they can assure it was for legitimate reasons.
He’s a dictator. Not a monarch. Seems like a side step. Fascist dictator. Calling him Royalty only feeds his ego, no matter how negative the monarch reference is intended.
