The 'ol "stuff everything into a hockey bag" approach has lasted me for a long while, but I'm looking for slightly more elegant ways to travel with a large fursuit. Does anyone have any recommendations for packers/packing? I am, unfortunately, a lot of duck, and I need a better way to Bring Duck

I think that line is discontinued, but you can probably find something similar
The advantages is it’s hard, so fully protected, designed for travel so airlines won’t get weird and randomly want to charge you for oversized…

Drawback is they’re slightly wedge shape, so you have slightly less room than you might were it square like a box or a pelican (pelicans are square birds, right?)
I’d recommend one full suit with padding max, tho I’ve fit a full and a partial before, even two full suits minus one set of feet, where one of them had no padding. YMMV
But I also did really well with rolling motocross gear suitcases for a while, especially one that had good helmet storage. The Ogio 9800 was my go for my v2
The 1615 Air and 1637 Air are as large as airlines will allow. It comes with form or no foam.
The 1615TRVL has storage compartments glued on the lid and comes with packing cubes.
1637 has 3.12 ft³
1620: 21.48 x 16.42 x 12.54 in
(54.6 x 41.7 x 31.9 cm)
1637: 23.43 x 17.55 x 13.25 in
(59.5 x 44.6 x 33.7 cm)
