How long, in minutes, would it have taken the GOP to introduce articles of impeachment against Clinton, Obama, or Biden if they had said they were going to ship American citizens to a prison in El Salvador?

Spoiler alert, they deported MORE people than either Bush and Republicans screamed the entire time they weren't deporting enough people.
I wish it wasn't so, but it is.
The GOP's silence on this is deafening.

Nothing will be done in an R majority Congress. It's like Tesla's BoD.
It implies that a Democrat would ever do something so heinous
Then they'd get a better article out on the House floor a few days later.

Most dems are career politicians like Schumer. The the last thing they want now is a fight. They want to live on and on in Congress until they are dribbling ruins, sucking from the taxpayer teat forever.
We have arrived in this nightmare, what's the point of speculating about who would have done what?
The REAL problem is that not enough Republicans would have the stones to convict.

consequently there's no deterrence
I think Democrats need to condemn this while also saying that if it's normalized now, it's normalized forever, no matter who's in office

this is why we haven't had another nuclear conflict since WWII
mutually assured destruction
Fascists don't care which side of a horseshoe destroys the democracy as long as they achieve the end goal.
Biden could have shipped those fools to Gitmo, but the rules continue to favor the worst fucking people.
