Sexual attraction and romantic interest are not the same thing and I really wish people would stop conflating the two :/

So, to answer your question: Yes, love can exist without sex. They are two completely different things built on completely different emotional structures.

I was always told they were the same thing and so I was thinking love was just if someone wanted to sex you or not. From my experience I always thought men's definition was sex and female's definition was emotional. I understand this is not always the case, but largely so.

The lack of separation between the two has become a growing pain for me as someone who is aromantic and incapable of feeling one of said emotions (Not helped by the fact that people are prone to assume that, since I am aro, I am asexual despite me being the opposite of ace in almost every way).

I think love can take a lot of different forms. Some general ones are familial, platonic, and romantic. Intimacy doesn't need to be sexual, like you can have VERY close friends you open up to about anything etc. But sex is a way to express physical and potentially emotional intimacy

If there isn't an emotional/romantic connection it can still be intimate in a unique way, but usually I view that as more like masturbation with another person involved

I believe yes. Sex and love are strongly connected to each other. Imo, sex is the strongest physical expression of love and I think it's beautiful.

Even from biological perspective, we still don't have a technology to create live but we always could do it with our own bodies. Crazy to think about.

I'd say it's more of a byproduct of love itself, but at the same time, it's kinda not in some ways
There's a lot of tust that goes into something like that, especially since the consequences can lead to a whole person being made
And other times, people just wanna satisfy a need, it's tricky.

imho they're separate acts often correlated together, so the answer really just depends on an individual's values

casual sex exists, sex repulsed people still fall in love... everything in between, thus it really just depends on the person.

Sex to me is like another form of expressing love and deepening a relationship, but also just another form of pleasure thats not romantic. Love can exist without sex and sex can exist without love

I have a weird relationship with sex so, take this with a grain of salt.

I don't think sex is love personally, it's more akin to intimate physical affection in my eyes, love can absolutely exist without sex, the opposite is also equally true. Some people intertwine the two but they're different imo
