The Tories had 3 PMs' resignation honours in as many years. Some rebalancing is needed.
My point is that the beeb are making this out to be newsworthy "hypocrisy" when Labour say they want to abolish an outdated system which the Tories have stacked in their own favour. Labour rebalancing HoL in the meantime isn't hypocrisy at all, it's consistency.
If they don't reform HoL longer term then criticism will be fair.
It’s ridiculous to expect Labour not to do this. Otherwise Labour won’t have the numbers to support any Bills or Laws they want to pass over the next 4 years.

Personally I think there’s too much self interest for any party in power to actually reform it. Roll on PR
