I believe taxation and redistribution of that revenue is the most inefficient way to create prosperity for everyone. I would instead like to see a tax system that encourages employers to pay a larger part of their profits to the employees responsible for those profits.

John Ruffolo's comments are laughable. We don't just tax things we don't want, we tax to get things we do want: education, healthcare, income security, infrastructure. Those who don't want to pay their fair share want the benefits of society without the costs. True greed and entitlement.

“But rich people/businesses will leave” has always been the battle-cry of those same rich people/businesses looking to minimize (or, ideally for them, eliminate) the taxes they pay.

Time and again, it’s been shown to virtually never actually happen.
