I had meningococcal C meningitis in about 1983. I’m so thankful that I had no complications or long term effects. It could have been so much worse.
Absolutely get your kids vaccinated. I was lucky. Many others aren’t. Don’t take the risk.

Ethan in that video was my patient many years ago, shortly after his infection. I remember seeing his family at the NCE one year and being so happy to run into them there on the convention floor. They have been tireless in their advocacy.
