Most Americans are terrified of breaking the status quo for fear of ending up on the fringes where the Trump administration is picking off the weak like goddamn sharks.
Here's what they don't talk about in the U$A, it's ALWAYS been like this. The plutocrats have always preyed on the population (and the world) and the Trump terrors really aren't that big of a change. Just more in yer face.
Amerika has always been THE BEST even when raining down napalm in SE Asia.
It’s hard to say for sure. But this country is just so spread out that what is happening in DC will take time to feel the effects of throughout the country. Think of it like a train taking a lot of time to get up to speed. Problem is it might be too late by then. Who knows??
By design. Leave the fly-over normies be as much as possible, hurt the ones they don't want to think about first. By the time it comes to their door, it'll be too late to object.
But then, this is a country in which non-union workers (rightly) worry about getting fired for that. So, lot's of fear and people just trying to keep their heads down and get by, I suppose .
Or, it's a bunch of billionaires freaking out that America got a taste of a better way of living while the pandemic raged (aid programs, work from home, less commute time sucking away personal time) and now they're doing everything to make it hurt to ask for more.
What I want to know is why the USA hasn’t started doing drone strikes on its corrupt government. Of course I categorically do not condone such a thing for legal reasons, but why hasn’t it happened yet? Seems like what individualists & bootstrappers would do.
