I find it amazing that Stallone is known for 2 franchises (Rambo & Rocky) where the first film is thoughtful and then the rest of series just decides to turn the action up to 10 and ignore the point of the first film.

It's wild to me how many people don't understand that point. During the standoff at the end, when I realized he wasn't killing anybody, I got so hyped up. Not killing is so much more creative than just wiping everyone out.

There’s a great bit of sleight of hand too when they research him and go “Oh shit, this guys a badass” and in your mind you are expecting a bloodbath but that doesn’t happen
