Dungeon Crawler Carl, especially if you like audiobooks. They're amazing sci-fi Dystopian.
Otherwise if you want something gritty and grimdark fantasy, Priest of Bones by Peter McLean. Two of my recent favorites.

A third recommendation is anything by Christopher Buehlman, especially Between Two Fires for Horror or The Blacktongue Thief for Fantasy.

Not a store, but if you have not been to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library, it has a free outdoor area several stories up. It’s awesome.
