Today is National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day.🐾 My sister and I were some of the lucky ones. I am grateful for a warm bed, food, love and so much more!😻 #Hedgewatch

We were so glad, we were among the longest residents at the shelter, and the oldest, and we were terrified and placed in a foster home. Mum couldn’t believe we had been overlooked for so long . 😻💜

We are litter sisters but were handed in to the shelter aged 10, adopted to a care home until new management said we couldn’t stay, we were returned to the shelter and then Mum adopted us.
Plum was 11 when Mum adopted her (she’d been adopted at 3 and returned) Boo & Gemma were 8 when adopted. 😻💜
