I wonder if the plagiarism lawsuit had anything to do with it not getting renewed. Even though I think the case was thrown out.

From what I read, their production was already going above their budget (I image making a uniquely animated music video is a bit ambitious for a TV budget), though the lawsuit was likely the death nail

From what I can tell, the show was too expensive to produce, Andre 3000 couldn't commit to it as much as he thought he could, and then there was copywrite issues with all the music.

It's a shame it's gone but it's really more a result of the show being impractical to make
