Do this even if you’ve disabled Face ID, because it will put your phone back into BFU state (Before First Unlock), which will make your phone harder to access with forensics if they confiscate it

If you have an iPhone, you can hold the volume-up button and the side button until the SOS screen appears. After that, your iPhone won’t let you unlock with biometrics until you enter your pin again.
