Whoa awesome :) I also work with service worker to mock our jsonrpc calls. :) it's actually work great, smugling TS was in angular was tricky.

I will have a look, the biggest challenges we face is random sw death and persistence of state within sw. So looking forward to explore this solution.

Take a look at https://github.com/mswjs/msw instead. It actually uses service workers in the browser, including Playwright. We've tackled a bunch of quirky behaviors to make sure it works correctly.

msw/playwright is just a binding to run the same handlers using PW's page.route() mechanism.

This is the first in the series of integration packages so I'm curious to hear your feedback. MSW was and remains an extremely simple tool. But sometimes the context where you use it is complex. I don't want you to deal with that complexity just to enjoy the library's benefits.

Next on the line is msw/storybook, which will be a full rewrite of our existing MSW Storybook Addon, benefitting from the modern architecture in Storybook and providing consistent experience when using the library.
