I mean, they were only right if they get their desired result after the acceleration. Predicting that Trump winning would accelerate the damage to our country was kinda a no brainer.

Very good point. If the masses crave “normalcy” and going back to the status quo above all else, not only were they wrong but they cheered on pointless suffering.
