The only reason you would is if you had a 200+ mile commute. I'm not kidding.
People who don't understand EVs that well will take the plunge on ridiculous charging circuits when in reality a 24A charger, same as a clothes dryer, gives 150 range overnight.

If you have the capacity for a clothes dryer, then even accounting for winter ranger loss, enough energy to complete a 100 mile round-trip commute is available every single night.
So - mayhaps you're not quite familiar with EVs?
